This Population Could Use More Skilled PTs…

Approximately 3.7 million women give birth in the United States every year. That’s a lot of women whose bodies are going through tremendous physical and physiological changes. And who’s helping them navigate those changes? Who’s guiding them toward healing? Who’s helping minimize some of the serious conditions so many will encounter down the road, if untreated? (Incontinence, low back pain and sexual dysfunction, to name a few.) One thing’s for sure. Not enough of us PTs.
